Commentairy Moslem America Aljazira, is the propaganda machine in the Middle East and now we have been introduced to the Bridges network in the United States. Bridges was developed to bridge the gap between Moslems and Americans, or so they say. The Moslem religion is based on Mohamed and not on Christ. They reject Jesus as the Son of God and as a Nation based on Christianity we must reject any form of antichristian influence on our children. Antichristian activities have increased markedly in the past 30 years and will continue to grow until the United States makes an alliance with the Muslim nations against Israel. Zech 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Not all will believe in Christ but he will judge all. Do people really believe this world will go on forever? If we don’t turn to God now, God will turn on us. Gog and Magog, The Rise of the Phoenix . Gog and Magog; The Rise of the Phoenix Ezekiel 38:16-38:22 Gog and Magog, The Rise of the Phoenix .The Phoenix is an mythitical Bird that every five hundred years is reborn from the ashes just as Israel will also rise from the ashes. 1. Mythology. A bird in Egyptian mythology that lived in the desert for 500 years and then consumed itself by fire, later to rise renewed from its ashes. 2.A person or thing of unsurpassed excellence or beauty, (Ariel); a paragon. [Middle English fenix, from Old English, from Old French both from Medieval Latin fnix, from Latin phoenix, from Greek phoinix.]. Ezekiel, 38:1 And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophecy against Him. The Lord knows the hearts of men, even men of the future. These studies will show future prophecy, which will happen after the rapture in the time of the 7-year tribulation period. What a lot of Bible students don’t realize is that they are expecting Armageddon to be the only battle between Israel and Her enemies. Armageddon will be the last and not only. 1.Possible nuclear war. Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. {Ariel, A symbolic name for Jerusalem Isa_29:1-2; Isa_29:7} 3. Table of Nations, Gen 10:2. , Daniel 11:44 Isa 29:7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision . 4.The Muslims refer to Gog and Magog as, Vadjudj-wa-Madjudj, in the Koran. 5. Colossians 3:11 Scything, reference. 6. Syria will not be involved, Isaiah 17:1,14. , Jeremiah 49:24-25. Reference. At this time in Israeli history, they are in prosperous conditions and the armies of the north, lead by Russia {Scything} intend to make herself rich from her. Ezek 38:16- 22, And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Verse 8&9 will be an attack on a partially restored Israel for it states in vs. 8, in the later years. Remember this will happen in the 7 year tribulation period, because the scripture states that Israel is at peace, this only happens after Israel signs the 7 year peace treaty with the anti Christ. Don’t be confused, these armies will also regroup after their defeat and Join Syria and the rest of the world’s armies at the battle of Armageddon. Gogs purpose in vs., 10-13, reference Rev. 17:1,19:19. The young Lions in vers.13 refer to the rulers of these trading nations. Fulfilled prophecy’s, Isa 10:20-27,11:4,14:4-27,34:1-17,63:1-6,Jer. 30:1-11,Joel.3, Mic., 5:3-15. Of ver. 17. Ver. 18-23 tells of Gods supernatural destruction of Gogs armies, Cpt. 39 continues with the destruction of Gog and the Armies of the antichrist at Armageddon, which I wont, get into in this discussion. The armies of Gog and Magog will be destroyed by earthquake and volcanic actions that will kill multitudes. Remember this is not the battle of Armageddon but the prelude to it. 3.Table of Nations Gen 10:2. , Daniel 11:44 Isa 29:7 Gen 10:2 - Gomer1), Magog2), Madai3), Javan4), Tubal5), Meshech6), and Tiras7) this group does not include the complete list of the nations that antichrist will bring upon Israel, such as Syria, Iraq, and all minor Muslim countries. For this list must come from the countries of the old Assyrian Empire, that God declared that He personally would kill the Assyrian with His own Hands. Isa 14:24-25 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. Dan 11:40-44 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. Dan 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. Dan 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 4.The Muslims refer to Gog and Magog Why does this make any difference in the study of Gog And Magog? For the writings of the Koran actually collaborate the Bible on its accounts of the end days. When the Muslim world says that the Bible is wrong and the Koran is right they are actually proving the exact opposite. Two factions will fight the battles of the Bible, Gog and Magog and the Battle of Armageddon. 1. Muslims and Israelis. 2. Syria will not be involved Syria is part of the old Assyrian Empire Isa 17:1 the burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. Isa 17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. An Hamitie race (Gen_10:18). Akin to their neighbors the Hittites. "The entering in of Hamath," indicates that it (the long valley between Lebanon and Antilebanon) was the point of entrance into the land of Israel for any invading army, as the Assyrians and Babylonians, from the N. The southern approach to Hamath from Coelosyria between Libanus and Antilibanus formed the northern limit to Israel’s inheritance (Num_13:21; Num_34:8; Jos_13:5). (See Megiddo, Valley) Jer 49:21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. Jer 49:22-26 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. This is by no means all that can be taught on the Gog and Magog Battle but is only a starting point. Photos are helpful especially those of the Valley of Megiddo and the fortress of Megiddo. Comparing those with the topographical maps of Israel and surrounding areas. The N.A.S.A. satellite photos of the area are easy to come by. Prophecy is complex and requires study and research. Many people will disagree on the interpretation of scriptures but the one thing that we all agree on is these two things, 1. The church will have already been raptured and 2. Set your House in Order Isaiah 38:1-38:2 Set your House in Order,for thou shall shurley die. A look into the Heart of man and God. The Bible tells us that mans wisdom is foolishness to God. That there is a way that seems right to man but in the end it leads to destruction. This warning came to King Hezekiah, in Isaiah 38:1, what is God telling us today, that our houses arnt in order? There is much in scripture concerning the House of God and of man.But before we concider this, lets look at the three parts of man himself. 1.The soul, the soul is the part of the man that thinks and reasons and plans. Its the mind that Satan wants to controll and once he controlls your mind then he has it all. Our mind controlls the speech and recoginition of good and evil. 2. The Flesh, the flesh is the physical part of man, which wants only that which is good for itself, lust and pleasure and anything that feels good.The flesh and mind work well together, what the mind says the flesh followes after. 3.The Spirit, the spirit is what makes us who we are, it seperates us from all other beings and animals. The scripture tells us that there is one thing that man and animal have in common, that is a spirit. It goes on to say that when a man and animal die that the spirit of the animal goes back into the ground from which it came and the spirit of man goes up to judgement. There are many different interpretations of scripture, lets look at one. 1st Timothy 3:5, for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the Church of God? We can look at this the way many look at it, the home that a man lives in or we can look at this spiritually in this manner. If we as christians cant rule our spiritual house. We saw a minute ago that there are three parts to man, the flesh, soul and spirit, which do you suppose is suposed to rule the other two? The spirit, the spirit must take dominion over the other two. This is what makes us christians and seperates us from the world. We hafe to look at the ordances of God and determin the right path to take. The Bible states that, Judgement begins at the House of God. The Church. Our house is supposed to be the temple of the Holy Ghost, but how many people are being decieved in changeing their pattern of life because of false doctrine? The house that we are inside must be clean and acceptible to God as a Holy sacrifice. We are told that we must offer up our bodys as a liveing sacrifice to God which is our reasonable service to God. Why? Because we are the house of God. A stone ,a pillar, a piece of the temple. We are lively stones which should be fit for the masters use. Not corrupt or vile or tainted. Why do you suppose that the scriptures state that, not everyone that sayeth, Lord,Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heavan, only those who do the will of the Father.? What then, is the will of God here in this verse? The will of God, to keep it simple, is to believe in the Son.Jesus. There are to many ministers trying to make the gospel so difficult to understand, its a wonder that anyone is saved. Jesus, was direct and understandible, He keep it simple. Such as, A house divided among itself shall not stand, not the physical but the spiritual. Our House, our spirit, our life, you are the house, and if you are devided between Jesus and the world, you will not stand the test, that everyone will hafe to face at the Judgement time. So get your house in order.But we as the house, also, according to Jesus, must count the cost. And what is the cost? As weve said before, salvation is free, but decipleship, will cost you everything.Warning after warning in scripture, telling us ,today, that the time is short, decern the signs of the times. Ephesians 5:16, Redeaming the time, because the days are evil. The congregation of the church have responsibility and so do the pastors.We being not many masters, knowing that we recieve the greater condimnation.We have a responsibility to the church to make sure that the wolf doesnt make it into the sheep fold, we are to give our life for the sheep. We are the house that must stand, the preachers, teachers, ministers, laymember and door keeper, helpers, all together. We have built on a firm foundation, a rock ,which cannot be moved.Im telling you right now, if we cant go to heavan, hand in hand, we are not going to make it.So remember what Isaiah said to King Hezekiah, all of us, Set your House in order, Set it in order, church, and pray that you are found worthy to escape the tribulation that is comming upon the whole world. In my view neither man knows much about Bible Prophecy, Peace will only come to Israel when Christ Returns at Armageddon. I’ve read many articles in the papers lately concerning Christianity and politicians. Its true that Christianity has, from its beginning, been a faith shrouded by death and violence. Every disciple with the exception of John died violently. We read in 2nd Peter: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption. Maybe these two leaders of the World need to Read a little more and make decisions slower. And what of Israel, The Holy ground? She is in the good hands of God. The Rev. In the Bible, apocalyptic elements are present in the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah, Joel, Zechariah, and Daniel. The collection known as the Pseudepigrapha [1. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; the rider on the white horse has many interpretations–one is that he represents Christ; [This view has its skeptics thou, for the rider on the white horse was Given a Crown, meaning that He had no power until after it was given to Him, as with the other three horsemen, the second point here is that whenever Jesus is mentioned, He is always mentioned having a Sword and never a bow. This is my interpretation of this.], the rider on the red horse is war; on the black horse is famine; and on the pale horse, death. The Apocalyptic nature of man has come from years of indecisiveness in the worshiping of the creature instead of the creator. Here we see that the writer John, stated that he saw a Great Sword, not just a sword. A great sword is to signify, great death was inevitable. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny (An average daily wage, penny, not to be misunderstood, At this time a days wages will be needed to sustain food for the people); and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Olive Oil (trees) and Grape wine (Vineyards), two main commercial staples of Israel. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. (Death was the rider but after the rider came Hell, speaking of the destination of those who met Death.) And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. If you notice in Revelations 6:2-8 , there are the words ; power or crown was given unto, them, him, and orders of see thou hurt not the oil and the wine, who was giving these things power, crown and stipulations of what to leave unhurt? God. Because of the totality unrighteousness of man, God will have His day of Vengeance. Rev 6:16-17 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: [God is the one on the Throne and Jesus is the Lamb] { But Jesus is not returning here in the tenderness of a Lamb but as a roaring Lion and Vengeful King of Kings.} For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Fire and smoke, mingled with blood, none will be able to stand, all of mans posturing and great swelling words will fall on deaf ears as the Son of God breaks thru the eastern sky. And the elements shall melt with a fervent heat. Many still today are saying that a righteous God would never destroy men, because He loves us. This is a misconception on their behalf. Gods’ word is true and not a lie. His prophecies will come to pass and His judgments on man are righteous judgments. Blood will flow to the bridle of the horse for 200 miles, this is fact and a promise from the Almighty. Death, Hell and the Grave are never satisfied, they always hunger for more and more, and only thru Jesus can we escape the torment that is to come upon a lost and unrighteous world. Hell enlarges its boarders daily, and is never satisfied and never complete. Idle threats from man have never nor will ever concern our Lord and savior, but man is headed for the Apocalypse with swift feet and greed in His heart. The blood will flow and the beasts of the fields and the fowls of the air will devour the bodies of many. An Eagle is a bird of prey as are the vulture and others. They shall be filled with their flesh. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are the representation of the four plagues that will consume the enemies of Israel and the Israeli people. This is an international plague that will touch the lives of all people on the earth and none shall escape. Oba 1:4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD. This prophecy is against Edom. Its destruction seems to have been typical, as their father Esau’s rejection; and to refer to the destruction of the enemies of the gospel church. All the enemies of God’s church shall be disappointed in the things they stay themselves on. God can easily lay those low who magnify and exalt themselves; and will do it. Carnal security ripens men for ruin, and makes the ruin worse when it comes. Mans laws and mans statutes will come to no avail when the Great Day of the Lord comes, and it will come. So ,is there hope yet for man? Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. For the saved yes, and about the lost, yes, we as Christians must do as Christ has demanded; ” John 9:4, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” We all must work while we still have the light. Those whom are lost must come to Jesus while there is still a light shining otherwise the night will come upon you to everlasting darkness. ars A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams Matthew 19:17-19:23 A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams Have you ever heard the phrase, a poor man with rich mans dreams? Many people in this life are completely exhausted by the race to wealth and prosperity. Looking for today and not for tomorrow. The poor man has only today, struggling to make ends meet, putting food on the table for his family and hoping that the next phone call he gets, isn’t from his boss, telling him that he no longer has a job. I’ve seen many this past week, loose every thing that they’ve had, home, furniture, everything. The only thing these people have now is the cloth on their backs. There are approximately 195 verses in scripture concerning the poor . The Bible states that God, creates the Rich and the poor. But there is no difference between them when it comes to judgments. A poor man dreams of a better day, without debt, without worry, without strife. He dreams sweet dreams of a day when he can rest from his labor and dreams of family, babies and his wife. The rich man has troubled sleep, worried about finances, and national debt, about rising oil prices and interest rates. His days are filled with worry over thoughts of others trying to take what he has. In the story of Matthew 19:17-23 we are shown a good example of failure to abide by the great commandment in the law. Which to me is the greatest commandment of all. Mat 22:36-38 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. Now lets look at failure to abide by this commandment. Mat 19:17-23 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding Psa 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. There is no need for a poor man, who puts his trust in God to worry. The poor man is confident in the Lord to provide him his daily needs. Psa 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. The poor man is free from worry, over someone robbing his home, for his possessions are few and his wealth is in his dreams and in his heart, where no man can take. 1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them. The poor mans dreams are set on Gods promise, “The meek shall inherit the Earth.” When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Pro 3:19-27 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Job 30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor? Your stature in this life has no effect on God and His love for you. Psa 40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. “yet the Lord thinketh upon me:” isn’t this a true comfort to those who are poor, a dream of the Lord God almighty, sitting on a throne, creator of all, master of the universe, commander of the greatest army, and still in all of Gods thoughts, and in all of Gods majesty, He still has the time to think upon the poor man and his dreams. Wonderful isn’t it? Have we become a people, like the rich young ruler, people that have great possessions and still have nothing but troubled sleep, are we a people that despise the poor, because they remind us of ourselves earlier in life, or do we despise the poor because they are not as we are? Have we forgotten that, our possessions belong to the Lord anyway, that those things that we posses are just loaned to us to help others, the Bible states that, We work to give to others. A poor man dreams of, Pearly Gates and streets of Gold, He dreams of rivers of living water and quires of Angels singing, He dreams of a tree of life and skies of blue, He dreams of eternal sunshine and walks on clouds of white. He dreams of an eternal city where He will never grow old, where his labor is thru, no sickness, no tears and no final farewells to those he loves.
