Beran has been the Director of Activities at La Crosse Central High School since 1997. He also is the Treasurer for the WADA, a position on the WADA Executive Board of Directors, and he has been the Registration Coordinator for the annual state convention for 8 years.
Beran also was chosen to receive the NIAAA State Award of Merit for 2009.
He was a classroom teacher for 7 years (1990-97), as well as a softball coach for 7 years and an assistant football coach for 5 years for the Red Raiders at La Crosse Central.
Beran started in 1986 at La Crosse Logan High School, and he was also an assistant coach at that school for 5 seasons.

NEW ON-LINE HOME FOR THE WADA
There have been many modifications and improvements made to this on-line home of the WADA, and we hope the changes make it easier to navigate to the things you need. You will still find our site via the same name on the web -- wadawi.org.
This new web site is the culmination of about two years of gathering suggestions and comments -- all seeking input about the previous web site and how to make the new one better and user-friendly.
A big THANKS goes out to the technology committee for their involvement during the past 2 years, as well as to everyone whose assistance ranged from small to significant... all which made this new site possible.
As our organization grows, this new web site will have the flexibility to grow as well. It will position the WADA to be a front-runner in the important world of communication for, by and among athletic directors and athletic administrators across Wisconsin.
We got a lot of mileage out of the previous site, but it, well, had become quite outdated. The WADA Executive Board hopes that you like this new site, its format, and what it offers to the users.
